2021-2022 Graduate Student Fellow
Previous Faculty Advisor: Professor Paul Alivisatos
Current Position: TBD
Ethan attended Florida State University where he received a B.S. in Chemistry while working for Professor Geoffrey Strouse. He recently received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in May 2023. He is interested in both the synthesis and characterization of highly efficient luminescent systems, specifically the CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals. The newly developed photothermal threshold quantum yield (PTQY) instrument will allow for precise and accurate measurements leading to a feedback loop between finely tuned synthesis and characterization.
