Negest Williams serves as a strategic partner for the Kavli ENSI Faculty Directors, offering guidance in program planning and implementation. Her responsibilities include overseeing information systems, maintaining smooth communication among program participants, and developing and monitoring budgets for multiple project funders. With a wealth of experience in project and program management, Negest possesses specialized knowledge in managing intricate financial, human resources, and workforce planning. Negest holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pune and she is currently completing her Master of Leadership for Development degree at the University of Melbourne. Additionally, she has earned the following professional certificates: Leading Workplace Diversity from Rice University; Leading in a Remote Environment from Harvard University; Program Management and the Art of Communication from the University of Maryland; Managing Implicit Bias and People Management from UC Berkeley; Human Resource Management, and Leadership and Management from UC Berkeley Extension.
